Falconry - School Visits

Bringing Science Alive!
Our ‘Bird of Prey’ presentations are run by experienced and professional falconers with a passion for the birds that will thrill the children.

The experience covers topics within the National Curriculum with emphasis on adaptation, food chains and webs, flight, predation, habitat destruction and poisoning via pollution and conservation.

Any other requested topics can be covered if required and can be put to use not only in science but also in many other subjects including English and Art.

The lecture is presented in a language aimed specifically at the pupils’ age in way to ensure they understand and relate to the information they receive.

We offer either up to two 45 minute individual demonstrations to the key stages should you prefer. Foundation stage can also be included.

We are confident that both staff and pupils will find this experience both educational and exciting and pride ourselves on presentations that are educational without being boring combined with lots of interaction and participation.
